Why can't I update my National Identity Card?

You can update your National Identity Card number at the following link: Update DNI.

• If the screen goes blank, clear your browser's cookies and try again.
• To tick the checkboxes, you must first read the information on personal data protection and processing of biometric data in the links provided.

To avoid problems in the process:
1. Place your ID card on a flat surface.
2. Make sure there are no reflections or blurred images.
3. Your ID has to be seen in full, with no parts cut off.
4. The file must be in PDF or JPG format and no larger than 50 MB.

If the problem persists, try updating your ID on the app.

3. Update National Identity Card/Foreign National Identity Card (DNI/NIE).
