How long does it take for a transfer to reach its destination?

The time it takes for a transfer to reach the destination account depends on a number of factors, such as the type of transfer, the country where it is sent and the time it is made. As a general rule, we can say that:

• Transfers in euros between Banco Sabadell accounts are credited on the spot.
• Domestic and international transfers in euros within the Eurozone normally arrive at their destination on the next working day, provided they are made before 6 pm.
• Immediate domestic and international transfers are processed 24 hours a day, every day of the year, within a maximum time of 20 seconds.
• International transfers sent outside the Eurozone or in another currency usually take two working days, provided they are made before 5 pm.
