AV - How do I activate a card? - Renovación

If you need to activate the renewal of a card that is about to expire, you will need to wait until you receive the new card, as the CVV (also known as CVV2) you need to activate is the one printed on the back of the new card. Once you have received the card, go to Cards > Card Management > Activate Card, select the inactive card and follow the steps.  In addition, as regards the PIN number, bear in mind that it will be the same as the one on the card that is about to expire. 

You can also activate it by performing a transaction at any ATM or shop. In such cases, you must insert it and enter the PIN number.

Remember that you will be able to use your card until the last day of the month of its expiry date.
