Why can't I shop online?

In order to make online purchases with your card, it must be fully operational. Check that it is not in "pending activation", "expired" or "blocked" status. If the card has not been activated yet, you can activate it by making a transaction at any ATM or shop, in this case, it is necessary to insert the card and enter the PIN.

Make sure that the card you are shopping with has the payment permission to make online purchases activated or that you haven't gone over this limit. You can activate or deactivate online purchases on your company cards, from the app, go to the menu  > Cards. Then select the card and click on «Settings» > Internet purchases.

Remember that in order to make a secure e-commerce purchase, it is necessary to verify the payment within the Banco Sabadell app using the Digital Signature. If you have not yet activated the Digital Signature, click on the message that appears when you access the app. All you have to do is complete three simple steps. Some merchants are still in the process of adapting to European regulations and continue to send transactions as Non-Secure E-commerce, so some transactions will be declined for security reasons.
